Welcome to my blog !

Wow ! I finally made it !!! This is not the first attempt at blogging but it is the first time I have made it past the account sign up. I am the proverbial procrastinator! I hope this forum will allow me to keep in touch with my friends, internet chat friends and customers . I have been so busy trying to build the new website, working a full time job and designing and creating a new line of jewelry that I have lost touch with many of my friends. That doesn't mean that I have forgotten you but somehow when you work on the phone it is very difficult in off time to pick up the phone and make that call out, not to mention the impossible time frame of getting home after eleven in the evening .
For my internet chat friends I wish I had more time to spend chatting but time is so limited that I seldom get online to do anything more than develop the website and now I am introducing the blog to try to fill in the gap. Dragonfly of Cheers is still alive and well just not able to spend time online as she did in the old days. I talk to Ez2Nv regularly late night on the phone, keep in touch with Aussiebear and Chuchudda through Yahoo Messenger, and keep up email contact with Lola, Eva2Diva and Sasnak occasionally, I miss chatting with you all and hope you will drop in and post when you have the chance. I haven't been able to track down the boys at the EMT service in Phoenix Arizona since Cheers closed, so if you see this blog check out my website, contact information is there and I would love to hear from you and the same goes for Snickers , last time I heard from you , you were still with Dreamworks working on a new animated movie so if you are out there and find this post please drop me a line!
Now this is supposed to be a blog to keep you posted on my creative activities ! So much for jewelry I just spent half of my time delving into old history... but a colorful one !
I have closed down the www.handcraftedjewelrymall.com/carolynsgems website , not because it wasn't attractive but it didn't allow me the full control that I felt I needed for the future of my business online. What can I say , I'm a control freak! The new website is still in developmental stage and is fully functional so please visit www.carolynshandcraftedjewelry.com and see my newest creations, also www.ezshoppes.com/shoppe/?sid=carolynscreations my first website ,which provided me with an affordable and easy to develop and maintain online shop is still functional . It may share some of the basic accessories with the new website but many of the items found there are not found anywhere else online or off.
Speaking of offline, Keepsake Crafts Rte 955 Murray Corner New Brunswick is open for the summer season so my local customers, cottage customers and tourist will have easy access to the new line of jewelry including 14K Gold filled wire semi precious stone wirecreations, copper wiresculputure neck wires and Sterling Silver wiresculpture in both stained glass and semi precious stone designs.
This blog will be a place where you will have an opportunity to find out what is on the agenda for new designs , promotions and sales events. I will be working some shifts at Keepsake Crafts on Saturday afternoons starting July 8, I will keep you posted when I will be there so if you have an opportunity to drop by and visit I would love to see you.
I have been testing a new design for bracelets to co-ordinate with the glass gem necklaces, chokers and neck wires but I will not put them on the market until I have a chance to test them for durability but since you are here I will give you a sneak peak at one of the pieces I have been wearing for a few weeks now. Will you let me know what you think about it ?
